I started at Aiasatsu way back in 86' and had come from liverpool where I actually started martial arts at 13 with judo and jiu jitsu. It was not until I got to 15 and discovered karate that I really got obsesed. When I joined Aiasatsu at 16 years of age they were encouraging, enthusisiastic and most of all experienced even way back then. Years have passed and I still have the bug but unfortunately my training does not incorporate any traditional approach to martial arts which has many benefits and is where Aiasatsu excel. Although my approach to training in martial arts may differ widely from my previous training with Aiasatsu I have many fond memories ( and bruises) and would go back to Aiasatsu in a shot if I decided that their more traditional approach was what was missing from my regime. All the instructors I have trained with and competed with on many occassions at Aiasatsu are more than capable in passing on the very essential elements to any serious martial artist. Aiasatsu is a well known club not only in the local area but nationally having made their name in all of the major competitions throughout the years and I am proud to have been a part of their history. I amy even consider paying them a visit as it is good to back to your roots from time to time.
Great value for money, very high standard of teaching, I tried it and loved it, so give it a go and I might see you there!!!
I have trained at this club many times. I have always been made to feel welcome and everyone is just so friendly. The instructors have lots of expirance and are very good at what they do!
