• New Meze for Summer

  This is a lovely place, it has a sunny terrace that you can watch the busy streets from above - one of only two places where you can do that in Chester! In comparison to nearby restaurants it is well priced (even it's salads) and the food is good, home food! The Meze burger, chips and salad is espcially good! The evening tapas is tasty and the main meal Stefado is worth going for!

• New Meze is appalling

  On a trip to Chester called in here for Lunch. We were served mouldy pitta bread on filthy plates. The plates were that dirty you could actually write your name in the grime with a finger nail. The portions were very small and the food that was fit for human consumption came in farcically sized small portions. £7.00 for a plate of lettuce and three croutons pretending to be a cesar salad anyone?To be fair they knocked fifty per cent off the price of the food as an apology but to be honest this place is atrocious.

• NEW MEZE IS BRILLIANT

  Meze is one of the few really good venues in Chester that can mix a relaxed atmosphere with great dining and a fab night life at weekends. You have a perfect place for those who want a special service, a different kind of night out and want a family or friends orientated evening. It is fun, has tasty food to suit everyone if you give it a go and a terrace for eating outside in Summer, or a drink. Fab! You can book a floor, turkish corner or table for special events and they'll do everything to meet every request! Give it a go.
