About Us

Brief description

Genuine ITF Taekwon-Do as taught in the Korean Military. The UKTA is the original Taekwon-Do Association in the UK. All our instructors train under the World number one Korean Grand Master, Rhee Ki Ha. Wirral UKTA Instructors have been practising Taekwon-Do since 1986.

Genuine ITF Accreditation. ITF Certificate number: GB-4-227. Also BTC registered (The BTC is the ONLY National Governing Body for Taekwon-Do in the UK and is recognised by Sport England).

The ONLY Wirral Taekwon-Do School who train and grade under the original pioneering Grand Master. First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha 9th Dan

My son has been going to the classes for over a year now. Although he is by far the yougest in the class, he has always been made to feel very welcome and part of the class by both tutors and other children alike. As well as getting tuition from the two tutors, i like the way that the other children are given the opportunity to do some one to one teaching with him. He thoroughly enjoys TKD and i feel that attending the classes not only provides some physical exercise, but also teaches him about discipline and respect. A great class for all ages and skills and one that i would hoghly recommend.

I joined as a blue-belt in 2003. Last year I passed my 2nd Dan black belt and recommend the sessions to anyone interested in adding to their fitness, self-defence abilities and confidence.
