Karmatime teach children the magical art of relaxation. A life skill which many teachers and parents may find hard to teach.
Helping children relax is vital for improved behaviour, physical health and intelligence.
In our classes, kids are introduced to mind and body exercises which are designed to enhance physical and emotional health. We do this using imaginative stories, games, songs and activities.
Some of the techniques used include yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, visualisation and the creative arts.
Children may find themselves floating on their own cloud transporter or surfing on a chocolate lake! Anything can happen but we always lie down with our lavender eye bags for an 'eyes closed story' at the end.
Karmatime work within many schools across merseyside and run a number of private classes in both Liverpool and Wirral.
We have a highly acclaimed teacher training programme for people wishing to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for yoga with children.

We offer the most comprehensive training option to people wishing to share yoga with children in an imaginative, fun and engaging way. Our classes support the National Curriculum, having been designed by a qualified school teacher and accelerated learning specialist. The techniques we use offer many physical, psychological and learning benefits when practiced regularly.
Services Offered:Karmatime run yoga and relaxation classes for children. We also produce yoga cards, visual aids, illustrated yoga story books and yoga teaching resources for schools and individuals wishing to share yoga with children. There is also a highly acclaimed teacher training course available to those with experience of yoga and children who wish to start their own local classes. In Service Training (INSET) is also available.

Outstanding kids classes
My grand-daughter suffers from the usual anxiety associated with being 5, occasional bed wetting, fear of the dark and reluctance to go to school. Since attending Karmatime, she has learnt how to deal with these diffucult feelings. She sometimes sits like Buddha or crosses her hands and feet to think! She comes home and shows me all the yoga moves she's learnt (and tries to get me to do them!) In general, she's calmer, happier and bendier since starting Karmatime - it's a brilliant idea!
