Amber Lounge lunch
If you like smooth music (Julie London?) this is a good place for a lunch. If you want customer service, smiling waitresses and good food; don't bother.Mediocre Ceaser Salad that first arrived with chicken, not ordered, but told that it would be without anchovies; a pile of lettuce with a few croutons and parmesan scrapings in lashings of dressing. Plus a tasteless merlot.Prawns drowned in a sweet but hot chilli sauce.An argumentative guy taking the money who refused to discount the ceaser salad price and even tried to say that having the anchovies was a customer choice and stated on the menu; no, they had run out and it is not on the menu.Better options at one of the numerous brasseries.
