About Our Nursery Pudsey Day Nursery is a bright, clean and attractive nursery with in which we are able to offer you a very caring and stimulating environment. Providing safe and secure care for your child and peace of mind for you. The ample outdoor provision has safety mats as well as a large enclosed area. It is situated on the outskirts of Woodchurch between Sainsbury’s and Arrow Park Hospital. Ourselves Pudsey plans a learning environment indoors and outdoors that encourages a positive attitude to learning through rich and stimulating experiences by ensuring each child feels included. The nursery day includes a large variety of activities designed to encourage the overall development of each individual child. The activities promote physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. All are conducted in a happy and relaxed atmosphere. Each room in the nursery is run by an NNEB or the equivalent, and has assistants who are working towards a variety of qualifications. Due to every child’s individual progress and needs the children are placed in to key worker groups, this means that the key worker takes sole responsibility of their children’s education, observation and report making, whilst keeping parents/carers informed of their child’s progress. It is important to us that parents/carers feel comfortable about leaving their child in our care. We work in close partnership with parents/carers to help each child settle into nursery successfully, and to make their time with us happy and safe. Parents/carers will be more than welcome to stay with their child as long as they wish until they feel their child has settled.
