We at The Property Centre are able to offer Landlords a service, which can provide a valuable source of income together with peace of mind. The main advantage of letting rather than selling is to retain the property and to accrue increases in capital appreciation. However, in order to protect what is probably your biggest personal asset, you must put it in the hands of experts. Our computer systems are equipped to handle any type of management, from a single property to a large portfolio, each treated with the same degree of professionalism. The vetting of prospective tenants and property law can be a minefield, but with full written references and the right type of agreement, problems can be reduced to a minimum. Following our initial consultation/evaluation (free of charge/no obligation) of the property, we can commence our management service immediately and advertise in the showroom and local press. Once a suitable tenant is found, an inventory is carried out, noting the contents and condition of the property. The relevant Lease Agreement is drafted up, and the tenant pays one months rent in advance and a deposit, and the opening statement sent to the Landlord.
