    We regularly eat out and were recommended to try Athenas restautaurant, Hoylake. Unfortunately our experience didn't live up to expectations and left us with a bad taste in our mouths and Ive not even mentioned the food yet. The service was slow, we managed to drink about half a bottle of wine before our order was taken. Not sure if this was a ploy to make us order more drinks as the restaurant wasn't even busy. When the food eventually turned up the meat was overcooked being dry on the inside a
