  I initially went to look for dresses in January last year. Vicky was the lady I dealt with and she was absolutely womderful. I was not sure what type of dress to choose and she said she knew exactly what would suit me and indeed it did. I then went to numerous other shops over 2/3 months but went back to Berketex. The staff remembered me and I ordered my dress. When I went for the fitting another lady did all the alterations and when I went for the final fitting she needed to take the dress up a fraction - and did it there and then in 10 minutes. I found all the staff very helpful and would recommend them to anyone. They have also asked for a photograph as apparently most brides promise to send one but never do!

  Two assistants working there at the time i went in to look for my wedding dress. An assistant was busy talking to a women who also was looking for her wedding dress as she asked this assistant for her advice, the assistant told her in a very patronising way that basically she couldn't get that dress as she was too big for it, i found this assistant to be very rude and lacked respect of her costumers. needless to say the lady left shortly after and didn't leave with a dress. However another assistant who had been in the fitting room at this time delt with myself and my friend, she was lovely and tried her best to help us out. What ashame they couldn't both be like that. What we saw of the shop was a small slection of dresses and accessories i would say there is better wedding shops in chester by far.
